I like steak houses quite a bit, Texas Roadhouse, Applebees, Lonestar, you name it I can nearly recite their menu. Unfortunately the reason behind my vast knowledge of each of their menus is that they don’t differ much from one another. Sometimes it’s nice to break the monotony of our Saturday night date night and try a different type of cuisine and a different type of atmosphere. This is made even better by doing so all the while supporting a local business such as The Nile. Located on 8th Street downtown Anderson this local gem not only offers traditional and authentic Mediterranean dishes such as falafel, spinakopita, and saganaki (which I highly recommend) but they also offer the genuine Mediterranean atmosphere that adds to the appeal. So the next time you can’t decide where to go for dinner, try something different, delicious, and affordable at The Nile restaurant!
